A New Chapter for Our Practice: Derek L. Chase & Associates Becomes Chase & Associates LTD
As we continue our commitment to helping individuals and families find a fresh financial start, our practice is entering an exciting new chapter. As part of this transition, Len Hiquebran, Licensed Insolvency Trustee, officially took over the LIT practice previously operated by Derek L. Chase on January 1, 2022.
As part of this transition, our firm’s registered name with the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy Canada has been updated to Chase & Associates LTD. While our name has evolved, our mission remains the same: to provide compassionate, respectful, and practical support to people navigating financial difficulty.

About Len Hiquebran, CPA, LIT
Len brings years of experience in insolvency and financial restructuring, along with a genuine passion for helping people regain control of their financial lives. His approach is grounded in empathy, clarity, and practical solutions, values that align perfectly with the way our practice has always served clients.
Len is a long time resident of Vancouver Island and has a unique understanding of the ebbs and flows of life on the west coast. His prior experience in public practice as a CPA and as a controller for a forestry company has provided him with an excellent skill set for dealing with financial restructuring and insolvency matters.
