Insolvency Administrator

If you enjoy helping people, seeing lives change for the better, and having a work day go by quickly – this will be a good fit for you. Due to a pending retirement we are looking for a new team member to work with our Licensed Insolvency Trustees.

You should be comfortable with numbers and working on a computer. The ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing is important.

If You Are New to Insolvency

Any prior exposure to jobs in fields such as law, banking, insurance or some other type of finance job would be helpful. However, most important is the willingness and ability to learn. We would enjoy teaching you the underlying laws and rules pertaining to administrating bankruptcies, Consumer Proposals and Receiverships.

After an initial period of learning through practical experience there is an Insolvency Administrators course available through the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals.

In addition, we encourage all team members to continue to learn through annual professional development courses. There would also be the opportunity to become a qualified financial counsellor.

If You Are Already Qualified as an Insolvency Administrator

Compensation for this insolvency job is competitive and to be determined. The work week is highly flexible. We often go home for lunch.
